Term Life Insurance Rates: 23 Year Old Female Non smoker

Term life insurance is very affordable. How low is it for a woman, age 23? The rates are lower than the rates for men! Term life insurance rates continue to get cheaper. Even if you bought term life a few years ago, you may be able to qualify for lower rates now, or you may be able to buy a lot more coverage for what you pay right now. To show you how inexpensive it can be, I’m blogging a series of posts about the insurance companies with the best priced term life policies at various ages. Here are 5 life insurance companies with great rates for a 20 year term life insurance policy with a $500,000 death benefit, over 4 health categories, for a twenty-three year old female non-smoker. Find a good life insurance policy today.

Hopefully, if you have been discouraged from buying life insurance because you think you can’t afford it, this information will change your mind. Female Age 23 Non Smoker Preferred Plus Rates

Royal Neighbors of America = $15.83 Per Month or $190 Per Year

American General Life Insurance Company = $18.29 Per Month or $209 Per Year

Savings Bank Life Insurance Company of Massachusetts = $18.71 Per Month or $215 Per Year

Banner Life Insurance Company = $18.81 Per Month or $215 Per Year

Assurity Life Insurance Company = $18.92 Per Month or $215 Per Year

I found these term life price quotes through a term life insurance comparison quote engine (many of these are available on the Web), & these rates, companies, or life insurance policies may not be available in your state.

The Preferred Plus rates are the best rates, and they are for people in exceptionally good health. So, if you are in super good health — eat right, exercise, maintain a healthy weight — these are the prices you will pay, right? Not necessarily.

With auto & home insurance, agents usually qualify you for the rates you will pay at the time of application, and you start coverage with your first payment. Life insurance works differently.

When you decide to get life insurance, a competent agent will estimate the price you should pay based on how you answer the health questions, then you complete & submit an application to the life insurance company.

The insurance company reviews your application, orders additional information, like a paramedical exam ( A paramedic meets with you, gives you a health exam, and takes your blood), to determine if they want to insure you, and the rate to charge you if you are accepted.

You may appear to qualify for the lowest Preferred Plus rates at the time of application, but for example, you may be genetically predisposed to higher cholesterol than a normal, very fit person, and the policy will get issued at a higher rate, due to the paramedic exam results.

With auto & home insurance, it’s easy to shop based on price. With life insurance, it is close to impossible to know the lowest term life insurance rates for you before your application is accepted.

Look how the company with the lowest price changes, if you qualify for Preferred rates, instead of Preferred Plus rates:

Female Age 23 Non Smoker Preferred Rates

Royal Neighbors of America = $19.58 Per Month or $235 Per Year

Assurity Life Insurance Company = $21.12 Per Month or $240 Per Year

Savings Bank life Insurance Company of Massachusetts = $21.75 Per Month or $250 Per Year

American General Life Insurance Company = $22.23 Per Month or $254 Per Year

Banner Life Insurance Company = $22.31 Per Month or $255 Per Year

See how Royal Neighbors of America has the lowest monthly premium for the Preferred Plus & Preferred class rates? But if you applied, and your policy is issued at the Standard Plus class rate, Royal Neighbors is almost $5 more a month than the insurance company with the lowest premium for the Standard Plus rate, as you can see below. It turns out, Assurity has the lowest Standard Plus rates. But Assurity is $3 more a month than Royal Neighbors Preferred Plus rates. Should you turn around and apply to Assurity, if you think you can’t qualify for Preferred rates?

Each life insurance company has its own criteria for health class placement.

For example, you may qualify for Preferred with Banner at $22.31 a month, but only the Standard Plus rates with Royal Neighbors at $27.50 a month, instead of Royal Neighbors Preferred rate at $19.58 a month.

Female Age 23 Non Smoker Standard Plus Rates

Assurity Life Insurance Company = $23.76 Per Month or $270 Per Year

Ohio National Life Assurance Corporation = $28.93 Per Month or $325 Per Year

Royal Neighbors of America = $27.50 Per Month or $330 Per Year

You may have noticed the top term life insurance companies in each health category usually have rates close in price to each other, but there is a larger difference in price among the health classes.

For example, Banner is $18.81 a month in the Preferred Plus category, but is $22.31 for the Preferred category, and $27.56 a month for the Standard Plus rate class. Banner isn’t even among the top 5 life insurance companies with the lowest prices for the Standard health class.

This is why it’s best to use a good agent, because you can’t find the best priced term life policy for you without one. This is different than my advice about shopping for auto & home insurance, where consumers can easily shop based on price.

A good agent will quote you an accurate term life quote at a competitive price, based on the agent’s knowledge of the guidelines of each insurance company, and you, your health, your family’s health history, & your habits.

A bad agent quotes everyone preferred rates, or low rates they may not be likely to qualify for, after asking you few questions. This type of agent wants you to apply based on the cheap price, then they will explain & apologize for the much higher rate when the policy is issued, hoping you will pay it.

Look at these rates below for the Standard health category. All 4 of these categories are for healthy people. What if you have a minor medical condition, or you are overweight? A good agent knows the insurance companies with the best rates for certain health conditions, such as high blood pressure, or hefty people.

Ohio National Life Assurance Corporation = $31.60 Per Month or $355 Per Year

Cincinnati Life Insurance Company = $32.12 Per Month or $365 Per Year

All 5 of these companies have low, competitive term life rates. But many insurance companies, some with popular brand names, charge a lot more for their term insurance. Take a look at these companies standard rates for a woman, age 23, non-smoker:

TIAA-CREF Life Insurance Company = $35.70 Per Month or $408 Per Year
